Ok . Verry long story short. T2since 2010 controlled by diet. Well controlled til Feb this year.
Vomitted twice one day. No appetite. No desire to eat since. In this state for two weeks when penny drops, not felt bg go up or down. Usually normal for me to need to eat something every three hours at rest or sooner with using of energy. took bg at rising, 7.6. Not eaten for four days, though drinking water all the time. Concerned, how can it be that with no food inside me. Off to GP to ask. Shrug. What do you want me to do? Asks he. (Your job, in my brain). Came out with ref to stress counselling!
Since has gastroscopy and gastritis diagnosed. No treatment yet. Dont ask!
So, can someone tell me if A having gastritis causes loss of appetite and if treatment will restore and more importantly, B does gastritis mean bg is irrelevant?
I think it is weird and should be investigated but 3 diff gps not interested, Ta in advance guys
