Thanks :) I can't do much to change the foods. As the doc once said to me I am damned if I do and damned if I don't. I weighed 9.5 stones just before my pre-diabetic test result of 44. That was less than a year ago - about 9 or 10 months. Now go between 7st 4 and 7 stone 6 most weeks. I took up LCHF. I eat coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, butter and full fat Greek yoghurt ( I don't like cream). I eat nuts and seeds. I eat oily fish several times a week ( and put up with the way it aggravates my acid). I honestly don't know what else I can do. One thing I haven't mentioned is that I have fibromyalgia and suspected Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so spend a lot of my time housebound. I do not get a lot of exercise, and of course don't want to exercise too much anyway because I am trying to put on weight.
