Have you tried the usual route, via an IFA?

Overall, the loading, or availability of cover will be based upon your overall situation, including any other health conditions, or complications you may have.. Whilst premiums will be loaded to reflect an increased risk, T1 shouldn't automatically exclude you from life cover. It will almost certainly preclude you from Critical Illness Cover though.

T1 does load a premium on to life cover and many will just refuse and you would be very lucky to find any company that covers you for critical illness.

Please let us know if you do find one.. I think diabetes.co.uk advertises life cover somewhere for diabetics..
