Hello, I'm 16 years old and recently have been having trouble with low blood sugars at night. They start at around 2.7 and so I have some juice and a couple of buttered crackers I test around 20 mins later and have usually gone up to around 6-7 but then suddenly around 20-30 mins after that I drop back down again to about 2.5 ish and then I struggle to get my blood sugars back up. I was wondering what could be causing this to happen and if anything could be done to help. I have 4 injections a day 1 of which is lantus solo star done in the morning 26 units and the rest is novo rapid done with breakfast lunch and dinner. I carb count and my ratio is currently at 1:10
