Hello, my first topic btw :3 I have been on job seekers for a while now, it's starting to get me down. Whilst being signed on I have had a few spells of DKA, due to lack of care on my behalf and a viral infection. I have therefore been forced off Job Seekers because I've had more than 14 days sickness. I am trying to sign onto ESA, which helps me throughout being, well ill. I have since my last spell of DKA, after 3 follow up appointments with doctors, specialist nurses and support nurses, I have moved from my Novomix 30 flex pens to the NovoPen 4 with Levemir and Rapid insulins, onto a 8 a day injection scheme. Since being on the new insulin I have since had numerous spells of hypoglycaemia, for which I have now stopped using Dextro and moving to some Glucose Sticks to combat them. (Many sleepless nights and cold sweats :( ), well after listing my life story, I am wondering has anyone been in the same situation? & can anyone advise on the doctors note end ? Thanks :) Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
