Hi Simon84 That amount of carbs per slice would mean I can introduce bread back into my diet. I've missed a slice of toast with some peanut butter on. Found a great specialist UK website that stocks organic foods like Chia seeds, Pure Stevia, superfoods, nuts etc. The organic peanut butter is yummy & has no added Palm oil, sugar, salt. or other unwanted nasties. www.beleafinnature.co.uk The pure Stevia is particularly good & I use it to sweeten hot drinks, natural yoghurt & the likes. The prices are spot on too, as is the quality. I've learnt sooooo much since I was diagnosed a month ago, especially from the amazingly knowledgeable members on here. I've never eaten so healthily...which is the moral of the story I expect. Should have ALWAYS eaten well & taken better care of myself. Ain't hindsight a wonderful thing. Anyway, thanks for answering my question hun. I'll be off to Waitrose tomorrow. Ali. :)
