Prediabetes & pregnancy

I was diagnosed with prediabetes last November with a hba1c of 48 and subsequently lowered it to 39 at last test. My partner and I are thinking of trying for a baby in the next few months and I've been having a look on the forum in the pregnancy section but most of the posters I can see are type 1 and I just wondered if there are any type 2 diabetics out there who could share their experience of pregnancy?

There are some Type 2s here. Typically, my mind has now gone blank! But if you scroll back through the threads you should see ones from Type 2s
