Hi, late post but I’m back in the world of internet, weekend break over :arghh: it was lovely though and for the first time I relaxed completely about carbs. During the 3 days I had a real pizza with sensible toppings, a piece of battered fish but I promise I removed at least 99.9% of the batter, an ice cream and several cappuccinos, everything else was my normal low carb choices. I think emotionally it did me good to just ease up on the reins a little bit, awareness was there and I continued to check, I’m quite sure if things had gone scarily wayward I would have tightened up but don’t feel I needed too. Highest reading for the entire weekend was this morning of 6.4 but that first fasting test is always my highest so I’m ok with it. Now I’m home and settled it’s back in the very low 5’s so I think I’m getting back to normal, well normal for me :)
