1.5 ??

HI there all - I'm a Type 2 - diagnosed several years ago - started on meds and progressed to currently Lantus 22 units daily and Metformin - + the usual statin/ bp med and aspirin.

I've been lurking on this site for years - and am currently building my store of knowledge to try low carbing to see if that helps with weight loss and lower bgs -although if I'm honest - and behave myself I can keep them fairly stable - but I do need to lose some weight.

So, whilst trawling through the forums I have lately seen mention of Type 1.5 - Am I missing something here? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but it's puzzling me. I'm sure it's something quite obvious - so I'll claim a 'senior moment' if it's something I should know or remember Hoping some of you kind friendly people will tell me.
