the only other thing receptionist said was my white blood count is slightly low!! can anyone tell me what this means??????
thankyou in advance

well done!

white blood cells are the ones that fight infections. Im no expect but i would have thought a low white blood cell count means that you have more chance of getting infections and/or viruses?

Great news about the HbA1c!

Low white cell count could be anything, from"just you" to AIDS and all points in between. I suggest you go with whatever further investigations are suggested.

Well done on the A1c!

I'd ask for more details on the WBC but be aware that a lot of things can affect it, mine has been high (probably infection), low and everything in between at different times
