Today i ate a scone.....gutted. Have been doing so well and no carbs apart from those in veggies etc have been eaten. Start again tomorrow morning. On a better note 1st weigh in this morning and 5 days in 2kg lost!!
Don't worry about the scone.
In the grand scheme of things, I bet you carb total for the day was still MUCH less than it would have been before starting LC.
And if there is one dead cert about low carbing, it is that we all fall head first into carbs sooner or later.
The key thing is whether we get back on the wagon.
if you start feeling lethargic and cold, add some healthy fats/oils to replace the lost energy from the reduced carbs, drinks lots of water and take more salt

Evidence is inconclusive for an ideal amount of total fat intake for people with diabetes
therefore, goals should be individualized; fat quality appears to be far more important than quantity.
In people with type 2 diabetes, a Mediterranean-style, MUFA-rich eating pattern may benefit
glycemic control and CVD risk factors and can therefore be recommended as an effective alternative to a lower-fat, higher-carbohydrate eating pattern.
