3rd Quarterly review, quite pleased

Got my results today.

From an horrendous HbAC1 of 16.3 in March, to 9.2 in June, to 6.0 now (42)

Cholesterol 4.9, everything else fine.

I think proof (if more were needed) that lower carbing (130-150g per day in my case) works.

I also would like to thank people for the great advise on here, and also I do feel sorry for new T2's who are only told of one approach.

According to this website's own converter 42 converts to 5.9930 so you're officially in the 5% club.

Thanks for the comments. Might have a glass of white wine tonight with my chilli!

Interestingly, the doctor offered me statins even though my cholesterol was 4.9. Refused for the moment.

It's preprogrammed in them, my consultant constantly offers them to me at 3.8 :shock:
