It's such an interesting story the way it's worked out - an ex-Abbott employee, Piyush Gupta, saw a gap in the market, probably took quite a big personal financial risk to set up Ambrosia, made a solid little transmitter, then the xDrip+ developers were good enough to tweak it to work with blucon. Decent guys, all of them, who have made our lives easier.

I got a laugh when I was showing it to a dietitian at a check up. She asked, "erm, Scott, is this, like, legal?"

I’ll find out on Monday if I’ve been good enough to get my Libre on prescription long term. If I do, I’ll be wanting to sort myself out with one of these...
