To the people who set up this forum and the people that reply to questions and all the users
As someone newly diagnosed trying to find answers to questions at the local Docs has been a nightmare

But at least after finding this place its been good to find somewhere that a lot of my questions can be answered to put my mind at ease

Without this place I don't know how I would have got on

I second that. 18 months on I am still in here rooting around for info and experiences that help make sense of it all.

THANK YOU

I 'Third' it !
Not only did this forum/website help enourmously when I was diagnosed, providing oodles of info, but it also saved loads of time reasearching Diabetes on the web.. and saved money too - avoided having to buy loads of books.

And I "fifth" it! I never would have broken free of standard NHS dietary advice and medication without this forum. I am so grateful for everybody's contributions and now that I am becoming more knowledgeable, I am trying to contribute more, based on my experience. From Gliclazide and double-digit BG readings to med-free and normal BG - it's been, and continues as, a voyage of discovery.
