Unfortunately, it seems it's just T2D but I might be wrong

Having read it it appears that they are not stopping needles but recommending the 4mm size which I use and actually are really good. It looks like they are trying to prescribe cheaper test strips but would that change readings as if you buy generic paracetamol as opposed to branded it works the same, just higher cost for a brand?

Couldn't get past this bit:

Given regard to the need to reduce inequalities between patients in access to, and outcomes from healthcare services and to ensure services are provided in an integrated way where this might reduce health inequalities.

My views take us outside any discussion about diabetes related test strips etc. I thought I lived in the United Kingdom, I don't, even the NHS is devolved into separate regions and even within NHS England we will be treated differently depending on CCG and even within a CCG there seems to be different treatment. I predict a Health System where anything that isn't life threatening will have to be paid for.
