I saw a recipe the other day for kale crisps, and thought I'd give them a go when I saw bags of ready prepared kale in the supermarket, and they're surprisingly nice!

Take a large handful of ready prepared kale and put in a bowl. Add about 2 teaspoons of chili oil and a good sprinkling of salt. Make sure the kale is evenly coated and spread out thinly on a lined baking sheet. Bake for about 12 mins at 180 degrees C, turning at half time.

Tre-Pe,

Do they actually crisp up? I've thought about trying them several times but was undecided.

yes they're very crispy but just dissolve, a bit like fried seaweed.
get rid of the stalky bits tho

I find deep frying savoy cabbage or Kale crisps up nice just like the chinese crispy seaweed.
