Hi I have just invested in a blood sugar monitor. I took it and it was 12 and then did it again and it was 14!!!! Is this right? Thanks in advance

Did you wash your hands first?
what and when you last ate will have a massive effect on the numbers.

These are typical ranges https://www.diabetes.co.uk/diabetes_care/blood-sugar-level-ranges.html. If you fall outside these then I suggest a chat with your dr to get more precise testing done.
