( A short poem )

Haunted
...........

Guided
by a lackadaisical mind
chasing
impractical ideas
I wait for darkness
and fade away

Drifting aimlessly
between
life and death
I
dream of simplicity
secure in my own
simulated existence

Here
I cannot be touched
by
failure or pain
only
poisoned
with fallacious reasoning
knowing
soon my eyes will open
