Summary of my experience with diabetes I may be wrong in some of the things that I will mention in this topic
I hope that I am wrong to find someone correcting me Well let's start the topic If you want to get a good Result for diabetics you should follow the following steps First, reduce the amount of carbohydrates to an amount that your body may allow and manage well How can I do that? 1 You should measure the amount of food and blood glucose measurement before and after the meal two hours
Glucose Blood measurement should not exceed two hours after meal 140mg/dl 7.7mmol/l
2 Try to partition the amount of carbohydrates on three meals will be as follows
Breakfast is 25 percent, lunch is 50 percent and dinner is 25 percent The duration of each meal should be six hours Why dinner only 25 percent ?
In my opinion, the most dangerous meal the body gets is dinner, especially if the dinner is too late
Because the body needs the movement after each meal so that it can produce insulin more better
The second plan.
1 Try to eat as much food as possible to contain a mixture of vitamins and fiber And vegetable fats with as little carbohydrate as possible the Third Plan. It is very important that you do the exercises after each meal you eat The fourth plan. Avoid eating protein-containing meals before 6pm Why? Because proteins take a long time to digest and this increases the rate of high blood glucose at night The Fifth Plan. Avoid the causes of luxury
Sports should be used daily, especially behind each meal as a bike ride
And finally do not forget to follow this forum to get a new Note This is my experience. This may vary from person to person
Some good info, just a note that these wouldn't necessarily apply to a type 1 diabetic. A BG of 7.7 after 2 hours for a type 1 diabetic would most likely mean a hypo after 4, obviously depends on the type of food and insulin amount.
The protein one is a very good point, as I've had this myself, perfect for 4 hours then go to bed and high in the morning...

You have made a few good points there. If all this works for you, then that is excellent, but as you say, we are all different and some of those things do not apply to me.
1. I do not exercise after meals, ever. I let my food digest.
2. I eat protein at every meal. I believe it is important especially for older people. It does not affect my blood sugars to any significant degree, and overnight my numbers are low..
3. Vegetable fats? I eat animal fats and avoid vegetable oils as they are highly processed and can contain a lot of omega 6.
4. Sports? I watch a lot of sport on TV. Does that count?

I think the hardest thing about diabetes is that it varies from person to person at many points
This is of course due to several factors Such as the amount of insulin, digestive system, weight, age, What is called insulin resistance and so on
You are generally on the right path...and I agree that dinner after sunset is the most dangerous meal. Light and early dinner may be all that is needed for many to restore their metabolic health...
