A1c test

Hi to all,

My A1c test came back as Normal 6.9 yeah right pleased with that result last time it was 7.9 I must be doing something right for once.

But I don't understand my slight raise in bs
of 11mmol perhaps stress is the cause.

Was your A1C 6.9%? That’s the same as 52 mmol/mol, which in the UK is within the diabetic range, which starts at 48 or 6.5%. Certainly it’s an improvement on before, so heading in the right, but I’d check with the doctor if that’s the result they gave you with a comment of normal.

A higher than usual BG reading could well be caused by stress.
 

Yes it is the reading they gave me it said normal.
