Hi,

I've just received my monitor... with no control test solution?!! Nothing on the box indicated it was included but I thought it would be necessary to know it was working correctly. I also can't find anywhere to purchase some on their website.

Having you tried phoning them huni? I always found them very helpful

You don't need to check your meter before using it You can check it with the control solution if you have concerns that it's not right (ie different readings from other meter or not the reading you expected) - but it's supposed to work fine out of the box

But, as suggested, you can always contact Abbott and ask - most meter companies will send you the control solution on request.
