I use Trujeo which is another long lasting insulin I dont know if there is a best time as such to use it but I try and do mine same time every day that is at 8 am
10 mons or so either way wont matter considering it is now and hour later.
ask your Dr or DN if you have one
Thanks for that. Been on levemir for years which I split and really worked for me. Being discontinued typical!! So not sure how this works once a day. Will get in touch with dsn but will give it a go once a day

I have wondered about splitting mine 21 units morning 21 evening but it seems to work
I alos use a rapid acting insulin 4 rimes a day so perhaps 5 jabs is enough to cope with for now
Also if it helps the long lasting insulins act as a background insulin so it is always there in small amounts
without getting technical it changes it's form once inside your layer of fat to become miniscule crystals that take a while to dissolve into your system. Hence long lasting (mine can last up to 36 hours)
That very helpful thank you. Will just take a bit of getting used to after years on the other one. I take Humalog as my rapid. Just been given a libre. So at my time of life it takes time to get used to change
