Going out. After closing from work, I relax at home.
I love to drink coffee but I read on another forum that coffee spikes the bgs. Is this true. I take anti high blood pressure daily too.

You can check that out simply by testing your bg before and 2hrs after

then cut down your coffee intake, switch to tea

hmm I drink coffee black but tea with soya milk me thinks in my case black coffee would be better

I drink black strong coffee and not noticed any difference.
Though I alternate, tea then coffee then tea during the day

I drink decaff and it tastes awful and does nothing for my BG

Coffee does nothing in terms of my bg, no rise at all and it is full of antioxidants. I drink decaff with double cream or tea with a splash of milk.

I've always had cream in coffee (about three in a morning). Tea in the afternoon. Used to be green or Earl Grey to avoid using milk but now I've found the Lactose-free milk (full fat), has less sugar.
