For the last 2 days, as soon as I eat, I’m rushing to the loo, I’m at the stage when I just don’t wanna eat

What do you mean by rushing? Do you have constant diarrhea?

It takes about 36 hours for food to pass through the body.....

So it's unlikely to be anything to do with the food you just ate upsetting your stomach but have a read of this,

No, I’ve been on them since October,
And as soon as I’ve finished eating, stomach ache then straight to the loo

What are you eating? carbs can negatively react with Met.
In the end I simply stopped taking it and the problems disappeared overnight.
