advice please. t2 neuropathy pain

I bought mine from amazon. 8 pound for 60 600mg capsules
That's not bad. So for 8 pound you are getting 60x 300mg.
I'd stick with those.
I was paying £17 for 60 100mg. 125mg in total but 80% r-ala and 20% s-ala.
I will be buying cheaper next time.

I know. 300mg s-ala and 300mg of r-ala.
Its the the r-ala that helps with neuropathy. S type does nothing hun. Disregard that part of the supplement.
Books by doctors recommend R type up to 600mg per day (in severe cases).

Are you in the US or U.K.? That's what I buy. I started taking 100mg bf, 50 mid morning , 100 lunch, and 50 3 pm. Seems perfect. More expensive but more effective

I'm in the UK. The supplier is UK based but the product comes from the US.

I thought so. Someone on another thread I think said Swanson didn't ship to the U.K. But I thought they did.
I have found all supplements from Swanson very effective and reasonably priced.

ALA is miles cheaper to buy in the US. I recently bought some R-ALA from iherb.com, it was really cheap but I got hit with a £16 customs charge when it arrived in the UK. Ouch.
I have bought some of the German stuff which has been mentioned on here, I didn't like it.
I have found there is a big difference in quality of ALA products, I have settled on Doctor's Best now, I think.
I have recently changed to yet another different brand of R-ALA and my neuropathy has suddenly become a lot worse, so I'm going to have to shell out for some more DB.
I have definitely found the R-ALA variety to be more effective than the racemic version, particularly the "stabilised" variety which seemed to help my neuropathy the most.
