Have been low carbing for 3 weeks now & it has been working well.
Been eating 16:8 as well.
Not been hungry & losing weight nicely.
Tonight I am hungry having eaten as much as usual.
I've had a family bereavement on Monday & I'm wondering if I'm actually hungry or just wanting to comfort eat.
How do I work out what to do - do I eat more or just ignore the feelings ?
If you are hungry, eat. Just make sure that it is low carb and on your plan. One of the things that makes low carb work as a lifestyle is that you are not always hungry. I am sorry you are going through a loss, please take care of yourself.
My go-to comfort food is a hot coffee with lots of cream, and that has always been the case since childhood.
Sorry for your loss, and I hope all goes smoothly at the funeral.
