Advice please

Type of diabetes
Type 2

Diet only
Was diagnosed with type 2 over a year ago. Never given advice or what to look out for or medication just left to deal with it so thought it’s nothing to worry about. This week I’ve felt dizzy faint sooo tired and today (sorry for tmi) I’ve been peeing non stop. I’ve seen that’s a thing. Basically I’m wondering if I need to do something or just wait until Monday when the drs is open

Are you able to get a blood glucose monitor? Chemists or supermarkets sell them, it’s hard to say if your sugars are very high without testing, peeing a lot is a strong indicator but could probably be a sign of others things too. You could of course call 111 for advice? Or if your very worried take yourself to A&E, you are most likely fine until Monday but I would hate to say that and you end up needing urgent care, it’s your call unfortunately and unhelpfully sorry.

Well it's great that you have found this site!

Completely agree with the idea to get a meter to test at home as a longer term strategy. However, if you are ever feeling really unwell you should get medical advice. The thing is not everything is related to diabetes so it may be something else. So if in doubt get medical advice.
Having said that- stick around here and get information and support for all things diabetes
