Hi

After an anxious few weeks awaiting on a letter from the hospital , I thought `YES , Finally , MY GP actually did refer me for a pump , and this is it!`

However , after closer inspection it seems I've been booked in to see a `DSN` at a hospital I really don't like. The appt isn't until the new year , but what should I do ? Should I attend knowing I won't get anywhere asking about a pump , after all I wanted a referal to see a consultant , not a DSN (at a hospital I very much dislike after previous experiences) or ring cancel and then what ?

For me, all my pump acceptance and training was arranged and attended by my dsn. Have not seen consultant since asking, receiving, using pump? Have been in regular contact with dsn since using pump.
