Hi, yes i have a diabetic specialist nurse and team and i go to anti natal appointments which is a joint high risk anti natal clinic, the obstertician is always there, my hba1c is actually really good but after having diabetes for 28 years i know that tbh the hba1c is just an average of lots of blood sugars so with pregnancy i could have few highs a week and the rest hypos and this would come out as a good hba1c, i have been given the correct insulin now, the hospital discharged me with it so jist got get doctors to add it on my list of stuff i need order regulary,
I will take a list of questions for them to ask next time round as i dont feel they are taking it seriously, they just dont give you any information about nothing rhey tell me i need rake this and that but dont explain why, like at the moment i have to get to doctors get B12 vitamin and iron tablets too, nothing has been explained to me.
I just feel allot of mistakes have been made by the team so i dont feel i can trust them if it was just me and my care i wouldnt be so concerned but this is also by babies care / life they are trying to help / treat,
I had a uti since i was 9 weeks pregnant im now 22 weeks pregnant and still have it, they at the start forgot to tell me i had it and didnt give me medication for it, i have taken 3 lots of medication been in hospital on anti biotic drip to try clear it , but still not cleared rhey said im sensitive to the medication they are giving me for it yet they have rexently give me them again, surely thats not right and if they havent worked as was on them for 4 days in hospotal on drip and 10 days on oral anti biotic and aint gone they dont work right ?
Rhen in hospital they struggle to get blood from me tried on 2 different days no luck and on last say said we need blood taken did they bother no.
I calldd yesterday for results from urine test as it gets sent off to a lab and they try grow bugs or something, was told yeah its fine, but i know its not as i asked what all the readings are and what rhey told me shows that there is still a infection there.
With regards to high heels i cant walk in them anyway lol im a flat shoed girl lol and the backache is already there lol, i think i will just have it out with them tell them exactly how i feel that i cant trust them and see what they do or say xxx
