Look up the local pharmacy rota. Somewhere should be open. If you have some evidence to show, they should be able to "Loan" you the right insulin. Your regular pharmacy can do that anytime.
If you send someone in your place, arrange everything over the phone first.

Note my use of "if nothing else". For example, DAFNE says that you do not need insulin for snacks of 1CP or less. (link) you could have 3 meals of 10g carb each (which is what Bernstein recommends) without insulin.

Any pharmacy can give you insulin without a pescription. They have to, I was staying at my sisters once & forgot to check my cartridge in pen & it run out. Local chemist gave me a pack of 5 humolog no questions asked
Boots are fab when my little girl was diagnosed the hospital diddnt give us enough syringes and although a prescription was on order We hadn't received them, rang boots they just said pop in and we will loan you a box.
