AF and diabetes LADA.

Hi. Does anyone else have any heart rhythm disorders? I have AF, atrial flutter and generally a really reactive heart rate. I've also got a pacemaker. I'm having real issues with bg and my heart rate. If I'm low or high it feels like there's a disco going on in my chest. It also reacts each time I inject (I'm lada on basal -bolus regime). At the moment, my GP is dealing with the diabetes and my cardiologist dealing with my heart but it feels like rather a piecemeal approach but neither of them treat anyone else with my combination of conditions so they're pretty clueless!! So - I just thought I'd ask!!!! Thanks
 
Hi, yes I have af and I m diabetic. (2). Both conditions are treated separately which does seem strange now you mention it! I don't think the af affects my bg or vice versa. I have paroxysmal af, roughly one 2 to 4 hour episode every 7 to 10 days. I measure my bg every day so I can see what works to keep it down. JanR.
 
T2 on diet and exercise so no insulin.I find salt helpful as is magnesium in fairly large doses.
