Affects conception?

I've been told in the past that if you have a high hba1c it can make it more difficult to conceive / or to atleast carry the baby .
But saying that for the best chance for your babies health , pregnancy should be planned being a diabetic although not always the case .
But they like your hba1c to be below 7% .

Bad control can cause an increased risk to you and baby's health plus increase change of miscarriage but don't think being diabetic makes it harder to conceive xxx

My husband and I have been trying for 3 years and no one has said the reasons for not getting pregnant are diabetes related
