Having trouble as of late when I'm doing a set change and filling up the reservoir with air bubbles!! I know to tap the reservoir an get the air bubbles to he top but I still can seem to get totally rid of them all. Has anyone the same problem or any tips to help please. Thanks in advance for your advice.
not sure what pump you are using but what zi do is gently tap the bubble to the plunger end and then try to get the bubble to become one large one by rotating the csrtridge so thst the bubble then goes to the neck. I then using my thumb nail, sharp flick the neck with the bubble under it so that the bubble goes up the neck. I then attach the tube and using the csrtridge plunger, push the bubble up into the tube. Put csrtidge in pump and activate the load cartridge sequence and then the piston in pump advances and then activate the prime and watch the insulin push the bubble out of the tube. Job done
I tend to get the cartridge up to body temp once billed as the pump goes in my bra most of the time so gets warm. Room temp differs for many people as most people who work will probably turn their heating down.
After I have got the bubbles together and up top as much as I can I use the plunger to push the bubble/insulin mixture up and out of the top of the reservoir.
