IS IT ALRIGHT TO DRINK BEER AND/OR/WHISKY WITH MEALS, THEN TAKE THE GLUCOPHAGE SR TABLETS STRAIGHTAWAY AFTERWARDS? A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF CONFUSION HAS ARISEN FROM READING THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTION LEAFLET !

I think beer is a bad offender for raising sugar levels, also keep in mind alcohol is "empty" calories
