I LIKE BEER ! BUT, UNFORTUNATELY I AM TYPE 2 DIABETIC.

IS IT ALRIGHT TO DRINK BEER AND/OR/WHISKY WITH MEALS, THEN TAKE THE GLUCOPHAGE SR TABLETS STRAIGHTAWAY AFTERWARDS?

A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF CONFUSION HAS ARISEN FROM READING THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTION LEAFLET !
 
Best person to get a really accurate answer off would be your pharmacist tell them how you plan to take it and how much you are likely to drink. I think beer is a bad offender for raising sugar levels, also keep in mind alcohol is "empty" calories
