Hi
Haven't had the best of days with numbers, sight issue! Changed insulin & changed cannula twice, didn't want to work in leg, before tea I was 12 highest I've been all day! So I gave 1 unit to bring it down, had burgers for tea & salad & as weather was so nice had 1 Stella Artois cidre, an hour later bm was 14, changed cannula & gave 2 units, about 8.45 tonight did a bm & was 24.9, gutted

hi,been T1 22 half year now, been told pump will be here in 5 weeks and cant wait are there many bad points with a pump ? and would you ever go back to injections
I do find the pump goid overall
I am pretty active & so handy having that Temporary basal rate. Just flexible with the pump too, don't notice it once you get used to it.
I wouldn't go back to injections, once you get used to the pump I am sure you will be pleased
A pint of sweet cider has 24g of carbs in, dry has 15 and then 7.5% 40g of carbs. I got that info from the carbs and cals app, so I'm presuming you've not had enough insulin.
