Alcohol in sauce

Hi everyone this may sound like a stupid question but I’ve heard alcohol can cause hypos does this apply if it’s in a sauce or pudding etc
 
Usually cooking alcohol gets rid of the “alcohol “ but it depends on the recipe.
 
Depends on how you take your sauce neat or on the rocks, seriously though I would think the small amount of alcohol that you would have in the sauce would not be overly dangerous. I quite often cook with wine.
