I have been advised by GP to take allopurinol for gout symptoms, but since taking it my glucose readings are a lot higher that normal. My readings have been around the 5 and 6 mark. But since taking allopurinol they are around 10 to 12. Nothing else as changed like diet exercise etc. Also not being unwell either. I have an appointment tomorrow with GP AT 10am ,any help would be appreciated. Regards JB.
