My last FBG blood test was 5.5 (100). The doctor didn't comment. It was part of a few annual tests. I then realized that I am almost in the prediabetic range. I am 70 and female. In normal weight range.
I have purchased a blood glucose monitor and am entering readings on spreadsheet. I went on a low carb diet. I'm just wondering if these readings look like prediabetes. I've uploaded a screen shot of my readings.
These numbers don't look too worrying in themselves, although I guess the 7.9 is a little high. Are you testing 2 hours after you ate though? And more importantly, what did you eat?
