Hi Guv,
The problem is that are needs are completely different to the majority of T2s and finding the right foods to satisfy our dietary needs is extremely difficult. I had no trouble getting referred to a dietitian because of my weight loss, you should not have any problems with a referral your weight loss is more extreme than mine was. Hopefully you will get a dietitian who is sympathetic to the low carb diet. Like you my BS is under control, I'm not on any meds and to change from a low carb diet would change that.
Best of luck
Graham

lol no worries both, nothing like a bit of banter
I hit 10st 3lbs today This is starting to get out of hand now, but I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place, eat more BS goes high, eat less, lose weight hand over fist.
I haven't been referred to a dietitian yet, when I see the GP I need to ask for that as she obviously isn't going to volunteer it!
Trouble is I know the answer really, low carb, high fat meals, it's just a question of finding them!
