Hi
I was carted off to Hospital last June in a really bad way to find out I had Diabetes
They said I presented as a Type 1 which was rare as I'm 46 but later they said I am more likely to be a Type 2, Since then they can't make up my mind which I am
someone I was said I was 1.5 which really baffled me :?
It was all a bit of a shock but i got on with it and have got my levels from the worst my doc has ever seen to very good levels
Quite how I managed that is beyond me as i seem to be lost on what i am doin half the time but it's early days I guess and I will get the hang of things
My main incentive was I ride a motorcycle and I want to keep riding and don't intend Diabetes messing that up.
Generally speaking I have kept a positive mind set about all of this and haven't let me get this down
my main concerns are
1. weight gain (have you seen the cost of replacement leathers  )
2. having a hypo on the bike (that wouldn't be good tarmac hurts  )
Tis odd tho I never had a sweet tooth before but since i have been diagnosed I fancy chocolate more than i ever did, funny old world !!
