The best advice I would give you would be to get yourself a BS testing kit so that you can monitor your own levels. If you are diet controlled it is important for you to find out what foods affect your BS levels. Test before eating then 2 hours after and you will quickly be able to work out what is ok.
Hi .... I have been on this forum for a few weeks and would like to thank you all for your useful information and really appreciative if the support you have for each other... I was diagnosed in November last year and it hit me (as with others) hard.My diagnostic hba1c was 56 wt high trig and FBS of 7.9.. After intense research I launched myself into lchf diet as per dietdoctor instructions and on Thursday my hba1c was 51 and FBS of 69... hv tried IF but am worried my FBS remaining high.... I hv not seen my GP since diagnosis and am not on any meds.... or daily bs monitoring. My lab results are taken by work colleagues as I work in a health organisation.... please advise if am doing right. Not sure if I hv lost any weight but happy wt Hba1c results... thanks Nov
