Type 1 Antibiotic Doubts

I have been taking winex( cephalosporin) 400mg once daily for the treatment of a small abscess type skin problem and have noticed slightly high levels of blood sugar when I test before meals. Could this medicine be causing sugar to go high? Does this type of antibiotic have any effect on diabetes?

hi there @Blue_Star
if you are taking antibiotics this would mean your GP has diagnosed an infection...........I would suggest it is the infection that would be causing the raised BG's.
