Can anxiety increase blood sugar levels?

It certainly can. Any high emotion, be it anxiety, grief or depression etc can affect bg. Stress is the big one for me and I wish I could point you toward a method of easing your anxiety but I have yet to find one. If you are troubled by anxiety speak to your GP, there are drugs of course but there are 'Talking Therapies' available in some areas. Best of luck.

If you are looking for some help regarding anxiety then you could try Mindfulness.

Stress can and does cause higher levels
If it's worrying you, please seek help

Thank you all, I’m so great full for the advise, I’m having my yearly review next week and will discuss it further then, now knowing it does has settled me, thanks again, cheers all
