I was diagnosed a year ago with type 2 diabetes, since then I have been diagnosed with small vessel syndrome, which presents with the same symptoms as angina.
I've read sudies that show insulin usage with this type of coronary disease helps to stabilise both the angina and heart problems.
Has anyone got any advice to give me/ gone through this?
I don't know how to broach this with my diabetic nurse at my GP surgery without feeling silly
Any advice would be great

Hello dlashmar and welcome to the forum.

No advice to offer as I have no experience on this but I would go to see the GP not the DN as you will probably get referred back to the GP by the DN anyway. Time and motion!

In any case there is no need to feel silly about asking a health professional a health question.

I don't know about this combination of conditions, but I do know that the better the blood glucose control, the less trouble other conditions cause.
