Patch the insulin administered was levemir, it's a basal insulin (background) so no harm done.

Spearmint, you done the right thing as children need to know right from wrong. I was always the one that disciplined our children as my wife is too soft, never raised a hand to them but used other punishments such as you did and sent them to bed early, an hour after when they were asleep I always felt guilty!
