Any Type 1s on a Keto Diet?

Yep had to increase salt here never cooked with it but do now.

I have wondered about the vitamins as well the vegies seem tobe doing it.

I did 3 months keto last year when headers was suppose d to start well reduced the intensity for a while..... back on it now till driving review in june the endo should see a lower hba1c but as the dietitian said watch for hypo or things going awol especially if sick....

Catch is my numbers arnt as good as yours but doing the best i can with mdi... in the last dose i was afraid of pushing the hba1c below 6% but this time well i hope i can get below it.

All i can say is thank god for cgm helps a lot with proving how many hypos i actually have.

Running good atm been shopping with the missus today still keto 7 days to nuro..

Tdd is running at about 70-30 weight started in june last year 70kg still 70kg im 6 foot 3 inches all good. My endo thought id loose weight....

I read a book called The Ketogenic Diet for Type 1 Diabetes. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who's tried it as well. I know there's a lot of info for T2s on low carb and all, but don't see much about T1s.
The Ketogenic Diet for Type 1 Diabetes is good enough, but you have to watch your insulin levels and accordingly you should adjust your daily intake.
