How random does that sound?
But you never know!.. I haven't been out in a while and to be honest I'm a bit too unfit at the moment. But I was always amazed at how much it would bring my BG down, even hours afterwards.

Sailing from Casta Teguise in Lanzarote I was outside my comfort zone and used to stuff sweets into various parts of the rig in case I had a hypo while I was out and couldn't get in in time.

I'd love to know of any other diabolic windsurfers out there

Not a wind surfer, but would like to give it a try one day.

I prefer to be below the surface scuba diving, So next time you are out surfing PLEASE dont run me over when i pop me head up

Don't worry, I'm not much of a coastal sailor anyway, so unless you're diving in West Kirby Marina!

Or if I ever get out to Dahab, but I'll keep an eye out for those little floaty marker things you use!

I windsurfed before i got diagnosed 6 months ago and was back on the water with in a month and find it really helpful to keep fit cause its so much fun you don't realise how fit you can become and it helps lower my sugars
