I don't know anything about what you are talking about but I can share my dieting experiences
I was always tired, gained weight that I couldn't lose, high CHO and PB. I then started low carb Atkins and felt so much better, dropped weight, gained oodles of energy and CHO/BP came back to normal. I stumbled on The Blood Type Diet and followed it pretty closely for 5 years and still do for the most part. I guess you could say I do an Atkins induction phase (20carbs or less) with blood type foods. In the book the theory is there are 6 geno types within the 4 blood types. I am blood type O and it is advised a eat a low carb sudo keto genie diet. Grains and dairy are to be avoided. When I followed Atkins I ate low carb breads and dairy. After ditching those all my stomach issues resolved for the most part. As an O I am supposed to eat quality proteins, healthy fats and vegetables. Perfect diet for me. The other part of BT revolves around lectins. I do pay attention to those to some degree as I find a lot of the high lectin foods make me insulin resistant. Oh, duh, the other point I was going to make is of the 6 geno types I am a hunter. Again, hunters thrive on quality proteins, fats and veggies and do poorly on grains and dairy. Very true in my case. The diet in general is way too carby for me but the avoid foods I find I don't do well with except avocado. The combination of BT / hunter / Atkins induction works great for me. Not sure if this pertains to anything you are researching but it might be something of interest to you.
