Thank you, Holly is a red brindle Cairn and is 11 yrs old. She is my best friend and ensures that I get the exercise that we need along with low carb diet!!
(Off topic but if you have a wheaton scottie have you seen the scottie table lamp that Next do? k have one and it is lovely. You do not see many Scotties especially wheaton!)
Yes good for getting the exercise in eh! I shall have a look at Next lol. I imported my boy from a friend in the Czech Republic, not many in the UK though.
I have been on Forxiga for a year - all Ok and the best I have been when taking the lower dose along with gliclaszide, then they had the bright idea of getting rid of the glic and double the Forxiga. Bad idea. I pee for England every 90 mins - 2 hrs day and night, and have lousy BG readings - pre dinner usually between 8 and 10, I go back for a review in 2 weeks and I will have all guns blazing to go back on my previous regime. (if I can still tolerate a lower dose of forxiga - they did similar with metformin and I cant tolerate it at all now)
its not true you can eat what you want and just pee it out unless you like needing the loo constantly and a never ending supply of Tena. I actually low carb and still pee constantly
These drugs have been about for a while and nothing new. I don't think they are the miracle medicines as claimed in the article and other stuff I have read on them mentions side effects on the heart.
Would agree with Ali as I was told I was the first to use it from my pharmacy - there are 3 pharmacies in the town. Furthermore my DN said it was a new medication too.

Yes, I have to get to the toilet more frequently, and use Tena too, I already had weak bladder and think Forxigia has made it worse! Plus the recurring bouts of thrush. So am seeing GP when she back her holidays to discuss again.
