Obviously keto and low carb diets are very low in carbs and glucose and I am not sure what are their implications on the gut microbiota.
Do you have any knowledge or experience on taking prebiotic supplements during keto?
Do they help? Are they necessary? Are they useless? Can they harm?
Never taken them, I don’t think they are necessary, to be honest I don’t think they do much either way, my hubby has a lot of tummy issues and conditions and he asked his consultant about drinking them and he said the only think they had going for them is that they taste nice
